The Company

Nickerson Financial Corporation (NFC) is a commercial mortgage brokerage company Established in 1988, NFC provides mortgage origination services to its clients for acquisition, permanent and construction financing. Our goal is to meet the clients objective at the best terms available. The principles of NFC underwrite each loan request for a submission to a select group of lenders. NFC works closely with its clients and lenders to assure a smooth transition from application to closing. In addition, NFC will advise clients who are contemplating purchasing or selling a property to try to help them determine the debt and equity requirements of a particular transaction.

Douglas C. Nickerson

Doug Nickerson graduated from University of Maine in 1982 and received a Masters Degree in Finance from Bentley College in 1991. Doug began his professional career in banking working for Bay Bank (now Bank of America) completing both management training and corporate loan officer training programs. In 1986 he joined the W.E. Donahue Co., a Holliston, MA investment advisory firm. He held the position of vice president and was responsible for the investment management of a forty million dollar discretionary accounts portfolio. Doug is a member of the Real Estate Finance Association.

Robert B. Nickerson

Bob Nickerson has thirty years of experience in the co-operative and savings bank industries in Massachusetts and was President and CEO of three institutions. Bob served as president of the Massachusetts League of Community Banks and served on the board of directors of the Deposit Insurance Fund, and the Co-operative Central Bank. He was a member of the board of directors of the Federal home Loan Bank of Boston; representing the Savings Banks of Massachusetts. He served on the Board of Corporators of Bridgewater Savings Bank and is presently a member of the Rental Housing Association.
